NINA BISHOP 1st Commandant of the Red Cross Auxillary Military Hospital, Ashe Hall, Heage Lane, Etwall from March 1941 until she died in a car crash returning home from duty on 10th April 1945.
Born in Derby in 1889 she was the daughter of Francis J & Emma J Whitaker and wife of Major Thomas H Bishop.
She is buried in All Saints Churchyard, Dalbury.
